Pros

A small team makes the workplace feel like a family. They also hire talent so these people bring great skill to the projects. Salary is above average so our family stays together with a low turnover rate. They offer affordable health insurance for individuals. We work from home most of the time and office-share/Zoom for meetings with clients. This makes our team very efficient with all of the reduced drive times.

Cons

The same cons as any customer-facing position as far as duties. No affordable health insurance for families.

Pros

This job gives you plenty of creative freedom to come up with fun and engaging content, and you’ll get to work on a variety of projects, so things never get boring. The flexibility of remote work while being part of a small team that’s supportive and easy to work with. Plus, you’ll pick up great insight into the digital marketing world and have real opportunities to grow your career over time.

Cons

One downside is that content often goes through constant revisions, which can feel like double the work, but it’s just part of the job.

Pros

The clients, the flexibility, and the coworkers.

Cons

Because it is such a small company (and the nature of working at an agency), sometimes you will be pulling extra hours without additional compensation. Not a lot of room for internal growth.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your honesty and the opportunity to address your concerns. As a small Web design and Digital marketing agency in Houston, our workload can fluctuate throughout the year. There are periods when we need all hands on deck to meet client deadlines, but there are also slower times, such as during the holiday season from November to mid-January, when team members work fewer hours than usual. There are weeks when the workload is lighter throughout the year, and it’s common for staff not to reach a full eight-hour day. We also want to acknowledge that workload distribution for content writing and social media management can vary across the team. Depending on client needs and project assignments, some team members may handle more website projects and responsibilities than others. We recognize the efforts of those who take on additional work and strive to distribute tasks as fairly as possible while balancing each team member's strengths and capacities. We understand that opportunities for advancement can feel limited in a small company. Still, we remain committed to supporting professional growth, promoting from within whenever possible, or creating long-term employment. If you’d like to share more about your experience or ideas for improvement, we’d love to hear from you at hr@itvibes.com.
