Pros
- I’ve grown a lot here! I started off as a closer at 17, and now I’m a part of the admin team and also the pre-k lead teacher. -The families are the best! There are so many families that stay with IXL for a long time, and you feel close to the parents and the children! - I enjoy the curriculum, it has structure but also allows freedom for lead teachers when it comes to lesson planning -I’ve worked with infant and pre-k, the office has been great with giving a helping hand when needed for both age groups. -I rarely ever work over 40 hours a week, which I’m grateful for, they don’t want to burn you out! -At one point, I tried working at a different daycare in Livonia for a bit: and I came right back to IXL! I missed the consistency, my coworkers, the families, and the support. I was way happier at IXL! And I was welcomed back with open arms. -401k -Bluecross insurance options -Self-help book club to earn extra money/ training hours
Cons
-I wish there was more paid vacation time -Lead teachers get a little bit of prep time in the morning, but I wish we had more of a separate time for that.
