Pros
The teachers at my branch and our academic manager and admin really made it worthwhile. They are very supportive and extremely helpful.
Cons
Where can I start. The HR will lie through their teeth, many of the expats and other teachers have left for this reason.
HR make many promises and then they won't fulfil them. When landed the job back in UK the hr said they'd book my flight and my hotel, I emailed countless times and they didn't respond. Aisha is extremely bad at communicating. Last minute she got back to me and said to book my ticket and they will sort the rest out. I booked my flight and before I left I emailed my flight info and asked for hotel info, nothing was provided. When I arrived at Riyadh airport, nobody picked me up and there was no hotel. Good thing I had a friend who arranged for someone to collect me and take me to his house.
Then I heard nothing from them. When I got to the school 2 days later, the school said they knew nothing about me. Then I was told to do my medical. So I did. The company took 5 months to reimburse my flight money and my medical, everything I paid for in UK was not granted and their way to get out of it is that they do not pay for any expenses in another country.
My first salary was also delayed by 5 6 weeks, all these financial refunds I literally had to keep going to my manager and saying I need the money.
Then every month they were delaying everyone's salaries by a couple of days and it was not released until the CEO came and signed it officially to be released so we heard.
They play with exam results so everyone gets 100% even if he doesn't deserve it. They don't pay for summer vacation so you're stuck with no salary or very minimal to survive on.
They messed up my families medical insurance by not changing it over and I ended up paying 1200 SAR out of my pocket. When I tried to claim it they said send us the receipts and we will pay it. They outrightly refused it on the basis that they made out it was my fault.
I have never worked with such a crooked company. When I tried to leave they decided to put sanctions on me and said I would have to pay a penalty. So I escalated the case to ministry of HR and then i was able to move immediately. I lost my end of year service because they claim that you have to work for 2 years for them which is a pack of lies. I really hope they get exposed and shutdown.
