Pay is ALWAYS minimum wage or a dollar over if you are in any part of management. Strange for people responsible for piercings on infants, and performing store functions alone right? There is NO work life balance, locations are ALWAYS understaffed, they will *always* need you. This isn't the type of job you can go to school AND work at. Many people (I will not name) have tried, and failed to pursue an education, just to end up right back in the store juggling multiple locations. If you are looking for, 'just a fun well paying part time gig' this is not it. You will end up letting these people work you to death, selling face stickers, glitter and scrunchies well into your 40's... On my worst day I worked at a random location to help, did not have a key, was completely blind sided by a parent arriving at the same time saying she paid to have a "birthday party" in store (which I was not trained to host), berated by security because they had no idea where the party furniture was stored, on top of that we couldn't not perform piercings during all of the chaos of a bunch 8 year old having a party. So I had more angry parents mad that they didn't have priority over the partiers. Mind you, I am just 1 person, helping a different location because they were short staffed. I get help after about 3 hours.
