Pros
- good pay and good benefits - flexible vacation time - nice and approachable CEO - relaxed environment - credits to partake in experiences
Cons
- No HR to speak of (it's one person, who is also the COO) - made up positions and titles that don't appear to mean anything - contradicting policies about working remote/from home. Some people can weekly, others cannot, which seems unfair - departments kept in silos, no one knows what is going on - plenty of people aren't working and barely even show up; doing just enough to skate by and collect a check - horrible processes/operations. For a company at this stage, much more should be automated. Spent a lot of time doing tasks that a computer could be doing - lack of communication, announcements are vague and kept secret for a long time - company "events" are sad and pathetic, with never enough food or enthusiasm
