Pros

Love what I do. I get to work alongside not just with the therapists but also with the nursing staff, housekeeping, maintenance, etc. Advocating for both staff and guests is important to me, and this job allows me to do that. I really enjoy being apart of the guests' healing process and seeing their progressions. It brings me so much joy to serve them and my staff, and I look forward to coming to work every day.

Cons

Having every department on the same page is difficult. I do witness burnout and understand the demands can weigh on us all, but attitudes affect performance as well as their patience for our guests; especially those that are slower, disabled and need a little more TLC.

Pros

Ignite Crown Point has a great team of CNAs and Nurses that work together amazingly. The scheduler works with me so I can have a healthy work/life balance.

Cons

12 hour shifts. In house Starbucks doesn’t have pastries.

Pros

Do not expect a pay raise here. Despite years of service and dedication, salaries remain flat with no merit increases or cost-of-living adjustments. It is discouraging to see new hires earning the same as experienced employees who have given so much to the company.

Cons

This workplace truly shines when it comes to employee perks and culture. The benefits are excellent, and the fact that uniforms are provided free of charge is a nice touch. The company makes a genuine effort to recognize and celebrate worker achievements, which goes a long way in boosting morale. The HR team and scheduler are absolutely wonderful, approachable, efficient, and always there when you need them.
