Pros
Free sandwich each shift ( you can take as much food as you want, literally. Its a fun environment when slow, you get to talk and work with friends. Decent pay. People drink and smoke on the job, pro or con depending on you but it didnt help the store. You can wear literally anything you want! bra and short shorts I have seen it! LGBTQ friendly, one of the only things that they do right.
Cons
Your on call, expected to answer phone 24/7 because staff cant handle store on their own. The owner is a pervert and will come on to you, they will not protect you if an employee physically harasses you. They will hire and promote pretty girls before experienced employees. If they dont see you as a friend you will not get to manage your own store. Depending on the store some stores dont order enough meat or bread so you look like an idiot telling the customer that you still only have wheat bread after a week. The GM puts as much work on the managers as they can and they dont do much. All run by college kids with other priorities. Managers are expected to walk a bank deposit of over a thousand dollars to the bank through a bad neighborhood alone. Managers change shift hours the day before.
