Exciting tech company at an interesting inflection point - Engineering Manager Improbable Employee Review

Very interesting technological challenges and a great engineering led culture. There is lots of variety and challenge and I am continually pushed to learn new things. Incredibly smart people across the whole company. There is currently a sense of excitement and rapid growth, particularly with opening the new offices around the world. I would say the company has got past the growing pains of transitioning from being a very small startup to a mid-size tech company, particularly around HR processes, which have improved a lot. In the Enterprise side of the business where I work (which is separate from the games side) we are building a completely new product which is an exciting point in the company's journey. The CEO Herman is a charismatic and inspirational leader, and has now hired a lot of experienced senior leaders to balance his lack of previous experience.
