Pros

Lower management want to help you but upper management could careless about you; even is the clinical direct of office manager wanted to help is not really up to them.

Cons

Dont expect getting paid more that $22 dollars an hour, it doesn’t matter how good you are, the years of experience or education. The structure is designed that if you ever want to grow you will get paid less! If you start at $23 and want the student analysts position they will pay you $21. Dont get excited about your yearly raise (you have to set that meeting and they will schedule it for months later) because they will offer you at most 0.15 cent IF they cant find an excuse to way you dont deserve a raise. If you ever ask to be removed from a client due to whatever reasonable reason they will have you waiting months. The turnover has to be at least 85%; every 3 months a new group of RBT starts, you can become an OG with just one year working at their facility (at the Tampa facility) Some great BCBA but others are not the best at their jobs (not updating programs, texting during supervision, or talking poorly about the RBTs between them and to other RBT; bad at supporting staff during bx, specially from clients from other BCBA). The only reinforce they use to do was pizza Friday (dont get fool it use to be every other Friday) They do potluck days,I dont see those as reinforcements or taking care of their staff but each their own. They expect the RBT to keep everything clean, there is not a cleaning team or person in site. Bathrooms are horrible as we share bathroom with the kiddos. I would compare them with gas stations bathrooms. Kids will come in sick, clearly sick and wont be sent home. Clients will have high cancellation rate and its only an issue if the BCBA in charge finds it concerning, if not you are in your own. As soon as you put your two weeks they will treat you like you don’t exist, start taking your cases away without a care about your paycheck. You work on holidays and is expected from you if your client cancels to be on call like the whole doctor that we are. They will tell you about that 1 dollar more per hour for coverage. The CEO pretend he cares but he only cares about the money being made while putting all the pressure of those in charge.
