Pros
Feel very supported clinically and operationally by Center Director, BCBAs and fellow RBTs. 1:1 weekly supervision with BCBAs. Great opportunities to grow and learn daily with the RISE program. I have gotten exposure to higher magnitude behavior clients with confidence from the training and ongoing support. I feel I am valued as a RBT by BCBAs and CD. I enjoy seeing the progress made by my client's everyday, very rewarding job. Free Birthday month PTO day is a nice benefit.
Cons
We don't have sick pay, must used our PTO or UTO. Only 6 major holidays off. Can be emotionally draining some days, but still rewarding work. Schedules released less than 24 hours before the following day, can be difficult to prepare for session.
