Pros
Absolutely none don't apply there!
Cons
You will be judged for taking your lunch before 12 hours, you will be judged for taking the time for tarping loads if you don't want to take the chance of something flying out and hitting a car, if you go down Blue Island Ave on the way to the transfer station you will see their garbage all over the road from them trucks not tarping, you will be judged if you don't drive over the speed at least 10 to 15 miles over the speed limit, you will judged if you don't blow stop lights, you will be judged if you stop for stop signs , a lot of their trucks are filthy and nasty inside of the cab and have a thick layer of dust on the dash and all over inside the cab god forbid you take time to clean it the management will judge you for taking the time to clean their nasty filthy disgusting trucks they want you to work in. The suspension is so bad in them trucks if you go over a bump even at a slow speed your things will go launching everywhere then you will be judged for time delays when you have to drive slow over bumps then catch back up to speed. Other drivers will talk behind your back to management to make you look bad so they can look good (lots of backstabbing) In the Union contract it says they have to tell you by Thursday if you have to work on Saturday, they tell you on Friday, If security makes you wait for placement for a container management will judge you for time and act like it is your fault for the delay, if you get caught in traffic again management will blame you for the delay. The only way your guaranteed to have a job there with respect is if your related to a certain last name there. You will work long hours for this company only to have no respect and have absolutely no dignity. The only good person in management is the safety HR manager John but I was told the only reason they have a safety manager is because they have to because of insurance. They will run out of containers then have you drive to other yards to see if there is any available and blame you for the time it takes. They will send you to stops that require a certain type of truck and if you don't have that specific truck that stop requires, they will judge you for the extra time it takes because you don't have a stinger truck. When you show up for work you have to wait for the previous shift to get off for a truck to use and sometimes your waiting for 45 minutes and they will blame you for the time lost, when the dispatcher is busy and you have to wait for them to get to you, you will be judged for that time lost and they will act like it is your fault for loss of productivity.
