Pros
If you have patience, drive and are willing to suffer low wages you might be able to have some success. I was able to refine some very useful skills I use in my current position but the gods honest truth is I wasted way to much time there. If your a current employee don't believe anything the are telling you because it will continue to decline and anyone that is any good will leave sooner then you think. If you actually get fired because you couldn't perform its just sad.
Cons
Well where can I start, there is no culture at all, we had a couple of holiday parties during my time but we had to pay the entertainment with gift cards. They bought lunch once in a blue moon but it disappeared real quick. You basically come in and work, you have know idea how the company is doing, new rules come into play out the blue with no explanation, they try make new action plans but then you will never hear about them, especially if they have anything to do with improving the office experience. Upper management comes into the office closes the door and doesn't speak to anyone directly, only IM or email, but they are only 20 feet away, I think it's either bi-polar disorder or some sort of social anxiety. They will favor any new employees which show any desire for success but the minute you tell them "I disagree"or you make a better suggestion, you are shutout, shunned, or circumvented. There is no accountability from the top, only stepping on the little guys on the bottom because they are the easiest target or should I say scapegoats. I may have attended probably 5 quarterly meetings and the only time they mentioned an increase in profit is if someone left the company and they recouped the salary. Onstream rules this place from afar and they are nothing but bottom line thinking fat-cats who really don't know what to do. The stock is worthless and the 401k is a complete joke because they have no match so your better off saving what you can in your personal bank's own money market or CD. We used to have paid medical benefits but they took it away. If you want a raise you have to demand it, if you tell them you were offered a new position somewhere else they try to scare you with some BS non compete or tell everyone after you left that they sued you for leaving the company. I saw them threaten 3 people with the same bull and they all laughed at them. If your career is down in the dumps or your unemployed it's a start, but get out at your first chance. They will prey on people who are willing to do good but they only want a puppet and the moment you start thinking for yourself is the beginning of the end. The day I left there was one of the best days of my life. Advice to all current employees, leave asap, anythong is better then this place.
