Pros

Ingenio is moving forward and has significant opportunity for growth. They are experiencing a lot of change but for those who see that as an opportunity it is clearly the time to join. WFH is good and a lot of recent leaders hired in the last year are very strong.

Cons

A lot of Sr. level turnover in the past 18 months has created some confusion. Very strong progress has been made but some of the established targets are a bit unrealistic given the newness of the company.

Pros

Benefits, 401K, AIP, remote work, decent PTO, pretty much Anthem benefits however without the Anthem culture.

Cons

IngenioRx is a new Anthem-grown PBM since separation with ESI. I had hopes for great potential early on, however those hopes have officially left the building with the current leadership in place. A few reasons being: lots of turnover with staff and leadership in ops - eventually replaced with incompetent leadership that tend to micromanage and constantly change processes, poor training, poor staffing, leadership regularly requesting overtime on a weekly basis almost half the year (essentially leading to a pay cut as no overtime or comp time received, aka wage theft), high staff burnout, low staff morale as leadership generally aren't open to feedback. Holidays and weekends are worked in lieu of a weekday off, without incentive pay of course. Basically the annual bonus is what pays for all the OT and holidays worked, if you're lucky. Definitely a place to consider if you absolutely do not have any other options besides retail (although you'll likely be compensated much more with OT/holidays worked), don't mind working frequent overtime despite WFH, and don't mind being stagnant in your career for a while as your leadership may not have direction for you as they themselves are trying to scramble up the ladder. Otherwise, look elsewhere that offers similar benefits who will treat you professionally with better leadership, growth opportunities and much better morale.
