      Pros

      Friendly co-workers, most customers are nice, relaxed atmosphere, relatively simple cash registers, stable job

      Cons

      Worst management I've ever experienced-truly apathetic, lazy, and don't seem to care about employees needs or even safety, pay is low for what you do, schedule comes out too late to plan anything, pay raises are few and far between

      Pros

      -Rotating Weekends (Work Sat/Off Sun then Off Sat/Work Sun) -Flexible Scheduling

      Cons

      -You are expected to do a lot of work for very little pay -Being promoted is extremely unlikely and any wage increases is purely for inflation, not because they think you deserve it. -If you do not fight for higher wages they will not give it (I knew someone who has worked full-time in the deli for years longer than I, but somehow he made less than me) - Deli Management is very clique like, the assistant store manager has many complaints filed against him. -Expected to work holidays, no holiday pay or overtime (ever)
