Pros
Work environment is chill and helpful (when I am lost as a new comer, there's always someone around to help me out); Very knowledgeable colleagues (tech-wise); Salary is good; Unlimited PTO; Work/life balance is generally good for me; Culture is very nice and we try to meet each others for a month every year. The company is small and we are hiring, which means there's a lot of career opportunities.
Cons
Tech-wise, there's still a loong way to go. (It's not that we don't have the knowledge to improve things - because we do -, it's because we always have to ship new features and we never work on tech debt. It makes the our daily work challenging and fun but some day we might pay up that debt. Still, we already hired a Head of Eng to start implementing some process and, in short time, I can already see an improvement on that but, as I said in the beginning, we still have a long way to go; Work/life balance is generally bad for some people. I see some of my colleagues doing crazy hours. I guess it's because they want. I generally don't do overtime (sometimes I have something to deliver, so I do a bit of extra miles but it doesn't often happen - I guess it's like in every work place, right?). Nobody ever ask me to do "this for today".
