All feedback is a gift and although your feedback was tough to read, we appreciate it nonetheless.
Like many other companies, the shift to a hybrid workforce was new for Insidesource. In fact, we continue to experiment with the hybrid work model and are extending the upmost flexibility to our employees. As our CEO reiterated during our All Hands Meeting last week, “hybrid work is not going away”. This is true for Insidesource and many of our clients and we are proud to support our employees in this way. Our managers are in the process of exploring what hybrid looks like with their teams to determine when to meet in person verses virtually. We have also made modifications to our offices to support the hybrid model by eliminating assigned seating, implementing a desk reservation system and adding more collaborative work areas. We know this time of experimentation and change might be a bit bumpy and that’s to be expected. It’s all very new and exciting.
Currently, our industry is experiencing a rapid increase in activity as our clients prepare to welcome employees back to the office. All of this activity is captured in our CRM. We are happy to see business increase in this way after such a difficult sixteen months and we also acknowledge the workload challenges created when teams are understaffed. Our recruiter is working diligently to fill over twenty roles at this time, many of which are in the Sales and Design departments. We anticipate a better workload balance once roles are filled. In the meantime, both departments are working very hard to meet the needs of our clients and sometimes this means working overtime. Work-life balance and the overall health of our employees remains top of mind. We know best work is done when employees are their best selves. All employees are encouraged to reach out to their manager and/or HR with any concerns regarding workload.
Lastly, continuous improvement through change is built into our company DNA. “Change Makers” is one of our values, after all. We rely on all Insiders to contribute as change makers for process improvements, new service offerings, forward thinking strategies and beyond. We hope you were able to share recommended improvements with your manager before your departure.
Thanks again for taking the time to submit your review. Wishing you success in your next role.
