Pros

The people are fun, there is a lot of energy, there is the opportunity to make some good money at a young age.

Cons

Where do I begin? This company recruits you straight out of college and tells you how much money you can make and all these trips and incentives you can win all while climbing up the corporate ladder and becoming a professional. The only issue is that only the top lucky 5% have this sort of success while the rest of the company struggles and eventually quits which is why this company has one of the highest turnover rates of any entry level Job I have ever encountered. The issue is that Insight Global has a major identity crisis. They pretend and pitch to you a professional workplace where the males are clean shaven and the women wesr heals when in reality, you have just been recruited into the worlds largest fraternity outside of college. You are invited to drink with your coworkers pretty much every night after work and the company creates almost a cult following in which it makes it almost difficult to interact with anyone not Insight Global affiliated. You are invited to conferences and trainings in which the sole objective of everyone there is to get as hammered as humanly possible and get laid. Essentially you have been convinced that you are bettering your career when you have been blinded by pretty girls, booze, and the possibility of making money all while now getting sucked into the worlds largest pyramid scheme. Management at these conferences will tell you that Insight Global is the best because of their customer service and hard work. I'm here to tell you that few people who work there takes the job or pride themselves on the service they deliver and upper management is concerned about one thing; making money off you before you leave. The environment that is created is one of extreme stress, constant uncertainty and serious toxicity. Everyone including management has inter-office relationships and the amount of sexual abuse that goes unaddressed in despicable. I myself was a victim on multiple occasions and escalated the issue all the way up to the VP level only to have them tell me that the culprit and my boss had been "reprimanded" while he maintained his title. If you want to stunt your career and feel like you are constantly being babysat like a kindergartner, then this is the job for you. If you value your career, your mental psyche and your character, I promise you that you do not want to work for this company. The nearly 2 years I spent in the New York City office I would not wish on my worst enemy.

We are sorry to hear about your concerns from your time at Insight Global. Forums like this are not the best medium to try and address all of the issues that were raised in your post, but we did want to take a moment and try and provide our perspective on two points. First, it is our sincere hope that every person that we hire succeeds with us. As you know from your time here, since our inception, we have only promoted from within the organization, so our growth has been entirely fueled by, and is dependent on, the success of the hardworking men and women that work with our clients to identify hiring needs and find talented people to fill those positions. Doing that well does require dedication and hard work, but we firmly believe that anyone willing to put in that effort can succeed with the processes that we have in place and that the opportunity they have here is not matched by any of our competitors. Second, we take very seriously our commitment to provide our employees with a safe, supportive and professional work environment. We encourage employees to report improper conduct, and we investigate all credible reports and take action that we deem appropriate to remedy situations where we determine people are acting in a manner that is inconsistent with our values. We will not comment on a specific internal personnel matter in a public forum such as this, but we can assure you that personal responsibility and accountability are concepts that apply and are enforced even handedly across all levels of the organization.

Pros

The individual contributors and the endless amounts of budget for campaigns tools and resources. A great place for marketing creatives looking to do just that, create.

Cons

Leadership served themselves, not their team. There's 0 structure with no marketing KPI measurement or revenue attribution to show the ROI. Everyone always seemed so busy but nothing was getting done to show the impact marketing had on the businesses bottom line. Not many wanted to do the work to build the department to any potential, half of marketing doesn't even work under marketing which promotes vast misalignment. Just resources begging to be used and a bleeding advertising budget. It has a ton of potential, but I watched the few who could have changed it all leave over the frustrations of leaders only concerned with their own self preservation.
