Pros

-Meet a few authentic people who will become life long friends -Uncapped commission structure for Account Managers and Recruiters only

Cons

-High turnover- someone leaves every 1-2 weeks. And when you leave, you will more than likely have nothing nice to say -Call center-like atmosphere. No privacy. -Frat house atmosphere, which is cool for kids right out of college, but it doesn’t make for a long, professional career -Dress code- girls must wear heels at all times, even if you have a medical note (pretty sure this is illegal) I know of a few girls who have quit due to the comments from management about the “dress code policy”. These girls were extremely professional and very well put together at all times -Lack of diversity- seems like they only hire good looking, outgoing people. They judge you by your social media pictures before contacting you for potential employment -There are no women leaders in upper management -Only 2 lunch periods per day, which are strictly enforced as if you are in kindergarten. 1st lunch (11:30-12:30) or 2nd lunch (12:30-1:30). If you are 1 minute late (even if you leave later because you are working) you are immediately pulled into a back conference room and scolded. -There are only 2 times during the day, A-time (between 8am-5pm) and B-time (before 8am-after 5pm). You are expected to be in the office between 7-7:30am every day or you will be confronted. -If you have a doctors/dentist/any personal appointment that might happen to fall outside of A-time, you will be talked down to and encouraged to go during B-time (personal time). If you ask permission to go during your 1 hour permitted lunch break and indicate that the appointment might go over (because you never know, right?) management will ask you questions about what your appointment is about, how long it will take, and why you couldn’t go during B time. -Terrible PTO/sick policy. And when you do actually have days to use, you will be afraid to ask for it. It is completely discouraged to the point where you don’t ask for it. If you are lucky enough to take a “day off” you will be working regardless or you don’t get coverage from recruiters on your business that you work hard to bring in, resulting in lost business and lost commissions. If you are out sick, you will get 20+ calls per day from the office… which is still fully expecting you to work. -Absolutely zero work/life balance unless you don’t have any family or friends that you actually care about -If you are in sales, you spend 3-4 nights a week with clients and/or in the office way after hours working, none of which you get paid for -401k matched up to $250 per year. That is 2 grocery trips. -No matter how successful you are you will never be praised without a follow up of what you still need to approve on and a list of things that you are doing wrong -Lack of career options if you aren’t passionate about sales or recruiting and don’t want to relocate to Atlanta -If you love micromanaging, this is the place for you!!! -Seems like a walking/functioning HR/legal issue -No training for management, 90% of the procedures how they “operate” is completey illegal (trust me) -HR is literally nonexistent, even for the most common sense things that people should know -No stock options or any extra incentives for anyone outside of sales or recruiting, no matter how long you are with the company and how much you work you put in -The majority of the people who get promoted are promoted off of popularity and favoritism, not merit. -Looking back, I am ashamed of how long I put up with it in hopes it would get better, as management always promised. So many false promises. It was like an abusive relationship. -LASTLY, don’t look at the reviews where the “Cons” say anything like “No cons that I know of”, etc. They ask brand new recruiters right out of college to post a review with they are in their honeymoon phase with the company to increase their Glassdoor, Yelp, Google, etc. reviews. These reviews will change, guaranteed.
