Pros

-they do a great job hiring entertaining people! met some of my best friends -clear (ish) path to promotion

Cons

-they say things like they will auto enroll you in training (they won’t) -they will say there is a clear path to promotion (most recruiters don’t make it that far because the metrics are out of control) -there is no HR department, just everyone sucking up to the upper management (who will do nothing but waste your time and encourage you to work 10 hour days straight through lunch to show your “grit”) -please don’t fall into this trap- if you’re a new grad wanting to move to a new city, it’s so much more worth it to just get a grocery job tbh -you will doubt yourself every day because that is a part of the model- they can boil everything down to grit and tell you it’s your fault that you fall short when they give you bad accounts/recs -if you get hired: congrats, it’s because you’re physically attractive and can speak to people. that’s all they look for. -most people who work here have parents who pay for most of their stuff. most people aren’t commission eligible yet 2 years in and are still making basically base pay because of it and it is not as livable as you think it is -benefits are certifiably BAD. i have never had worse benefits.

Pros

The individual contributors and the endless amounts of budget for campaigns tools and resources. A great place for marketing creatives looking to do just that, create.

Cons

Leadership served themselves, not their team. There's 0 structure with no marketing KPI measurement or revenue attribution to show the ROI. Everyone always seemed so busy but nothing was getting done to show the impact marketing had on the businesses bottom line. Not many wanted to do the work to build the department to any potential, half of marketing doesn't even work under marketing which promotes vast misalignment. Just resources begging to be used and a bleeding advertising budget. It has a ton of potential, but I watched the few who could have changed it all leave over the frustrations of leaders only concerned with their own self preservation.
