It is clear from the company culture that the priority is for the summer sales teams. These out of town sales guys dictate everything and will promise the world to your customers. And when they leave at summers end you are left to realign customers expectations. this is also why you will have a high customer turn over. the technician compensation is at least a third below industry average as well as managers pay. As a technician, its a good place to get your feet wet in the pest business but i would strongly encourage you to take your base of knowledge and move to a company that will give you a higher production percentage, as well as termite sales opportunities with baiting systems not the outdated liquid treatments. As a Manager understand that you have minimal access to information and less control at the branch level for decision making. You have minimal access to your customers since they operate a central call center so a manager is constantly hearing information third hand and having people who have minimal investment in your customers handling complaints or service questions. It is very difficult to keep, let alone hire true pest professionals due to the poor compensation, so you spend A ridiculous amount of time terminating and hiring. As a result you will be constantly dealing with customer complaints and service quality issues, this likely contributes to the high customer turn over as well. There are better employers in this business and I wish I would have looked for them sooner.
