Pros

There are many opportunities for movement both vertically and horizontally. The company is growing quickly and is in an industry that is experiencing quick growth. Flexibility to take on and own new initiatives.Great group of people to work with. I hav learned a lot from RnD developers and solution consulting team . It is great to work at a firm where software is put first. Benefits are OK. Weekly fruit delivery is a nice touch

Cons

Insite expects a lot out of employees, and you can't slack off. Granted, you shouldn't slack off at any job, but since Insite is pretty fast-paced, there is a risk that you'll have trouble adjusting at first. Also because the company is growing quickly, things change fairly quickly and might not be a good fit for folks looking for slow paced environment. Our platform is complex and will take a while to learn but on the other hand, you'll end up learning a lot of stuff that won't be applicable elsewhere.

Pros

Working at Insite means working with some of the most passionate, hard-working and intelligent people. You're rarely, if ever, the smartest person in the room. Employees are continuously learning from each other and pushing each other to be better than they were the day before. The office is located in the warehouse district of Minneapolis on the lightrail line near great restaurants, music venues and Target Field so there is plenty to do for lunch, happy hours or team outings. Overall the work is challenging but everyone is working toward shared goals and is willing to help where they can. If you're a self-starter and up for a challenge you can make a real difference at Insite as it has a small company feel. Career-wise It feels like there is plenty of room to grow with the company.

Cons

With Insite being a relatively small company, chasing pretty ambitious goals, it often needs to move fast and be a little scrappy. This can sometimes involve working long nights or weekends and meeting very tight deadlines. Insite has to keep up with far bigger players in the eCommerce industry and that can often mean working with limited resources while still delivering equal quality. Many people like the flexible-time-off policy while I would prefer a bucket of time because FTO deters me from feeling like I can take vacation
