Pros

The IT Support staff and Engineers are absolutely amazing to work with. You get to work with technology across the spectrum. You are exposed to companies of all sizes and types. Plenty of room for career growth. Most likely get to work from home. The company pays for certifications.

Cons

The corporate culture has collapsed. Managers are completely unaware of what's happening. People are nervous for their futures. (Job Security) Many good people are being written up to push them out. Operational opinion is no longer welcomed. Travel and phone reimbursement is slowly being eliminated. It's extremely hard to find billable time. (Not enough client work)

Thank you for your feedback. We continue to experience growth which brings new challenges, and we are actively working on those. While we were asked for more communication on time utilization expectations, this information is meant to provide guidance and not meant to cause the level of stress you experienced. We do need to pay attention to our financial realities so we can compensate staff well and provide the level of support like benefits, staff recognition and team building, etc., but not at the expense of morale or employee experience. We are currently finalizing a Supervisory Training Series to ensure a greater level of consistency in how we provide support and guidance to staff but also to ensure tone and alignment with our values. In that we will reinforce that we have no intention of eliminating our travel and cell phone reimbursement. This year we have also been meeting with staff in our consulting practices to engage more voices in future planning and in all cases, we sincerely ask for and welcome direct feedback about how we are working and what we can do to enhance the employee experience.

Pros

- fast environment. - flexible scheduling

Cons

- poor structure of teams - constant communication issues due to communication happening on too many platforms - absolutely no uniformity in systems. If you work with 4 or 5 managers expect to have to do your job 4 or 5 different ways. - proactive action taken is punished - constantly trying to shift admin time onto clients. For example, have been told by several in leadership to bounce time I spent organizing my emails around to different clients. - always an overwhelming amount of work and expectations to jump in where needed regardless of what you are doing - management care about their own time more than yours. Does not matter what you have scheduled or what you need done, it’s always put manager asks first, almost always with incredibly little heads up. - I could go on
