Pros

£8 an hour, get to travel around the country, get to help an amazing charity.

Cons

Inspired people (the company employed by guide dogs to fundraise) are very corrupt and unfair. One of my team leaders broke the rules and signed someone up underage, frauded signatures and took credit for other peoples work. Management were informed of this and after suspending him for a week he was allowed back. You are encouraged to pressure people who really can't afford it, the targets are to high at the beginning for people with no experience. They also dont give you the equipment you are supposed to get thefore i got sunstroke for being in the heat for too long without a hat causing me to be ill. You are usually out the door at 8o'clock and home by 7

Pros

The hiring process is easy and doesn't have many barriers. The pay is always on time and bonuses are mostly always calculated right. They offer a referral scheme with financial reward.

Cons

My opinion is that they are willing to hire pretty much anyone and operate a sink or swim approach for new fundraisers. It makes the job seem precarious and puts strain on existing teams. There doesn't seem to be much career progression at all. I've worked here 1.5 years which is a long time in the industry and I feel like I don't get any respect for it, but that is more the fault of the charity I work on behalf of, rather than Inspired People.

Pros

Great pay and enjoyable experience

Cons

More transparency in the job description that this is not a long term job as its all dependent on signups
