Pros

Occasionally, you’ll get a great day. I would say you could make your own hours, but you can’t Instacart decides when you get to see orders.

Cons

-90% of the time once you’re no longer new you struggle to get any work that won’t cost you more than it pays -there is no actual support one out of every 200 reps you speak with is competent enough to deal with a small issue but that’s it no analytical skills no problem-solving skills plus they’re lazy. It’s just copy and paste responses 99% of the time. -they lie Instacart promises you never get punished for not accepting an order but if you don’t accept that $4.36 200 item shop and deliver Support will flat out tell you what we showed you a batch it’s your fault for not accepting -They tell you to complete 200 batches earn diamond cart and you’ll get first dibs at orders as long as you keep a rating about 4.7 well I’ve kept a perfect five star rating and day after day. I watch people with stolen accounts people with multiple accounts people using bots and shoppers with low ratings roll up next to me get offered at $275 batch while I’m only offered a five dollar batch. -If you create a great rapport with a customer that starts tipping more because they appreciated the services that you gave them Instacart randomly just take away your access to their orders and send them to one of the newbies for months until they stop using the service or just stop tipping because of bad experiences at that point Instacart start showing them to you again to fix the problem -You will destroy your car no matter how well you take care of it. You will be putting mile after mile on a day after day our zone has been expanded over and over every six months. -They don’t pay you to shop at all at Best. You’re normally paid $.60 per mile only covering the delivery mileage. No actual pay is provided for shopping anymore. Give an order has heavy pay 90% of the time there’s no actual heavy pay even though the customer is charged the fee it’s not passed along to us. Instacart believes the words HEAVY PAY count is actually paying us. -Because of Instacart continuously adding on some of the worst people stores now start to look down on you when they see your Instacart or assume you’re stealing because so many of these new ones have. -I no matter how good you are no matter how long you provide services no matter how many five stars you get Instacart still decides when you get to see work.

Pros

Daily Pay or weekly Flexible schedule

Cons

Customer service is terrible. No way to verify your income. The site is down and customer service will not help. You solve your situation. Also there is not a customer service or corporate phone number. To call when you have a serious situation!!!!
