Pros
Flexible schedule- only sign up for shifts you are available for. Take time off anytime- it’s unpaid, but the choice is nice to have. Work as little or as much as you can handle.
Cons
Rates of pay have gone down significantly over the past 4 years. There used to be an abundance of gigs that paid 28-45$/hour, but most employers dropped their pay to $17-21/hour. Extremely strict punishment for canceling gigs, even with legitimate reason (car accident, hospitalization, death in the family). All future shifts may get canceled and your account suspended.
