Pros
I thoroughly enjoyed my first few years at the organization! The 4-star rating reflects those initial experiences, not the current state, as I am now a former employee from a little while ago. Working alongside like-minded, genuinely amazing colleagues was a highlight, and I truly valued the daily interactions. Initially, the position was in-person, later transitioning to hybrid, and eventually becoming predominantly remote. For those willing to put in the effort, there was significant potential to earn a great income. The company offered many outstanding perks, including: Commuting benefits Healthy, organic catered meals (with leftovers to take home!) High-quality organic and non-GMO snacks On-site massages, chiropractic services, and yoga Gym membership reimbursement Staff retreats, catered holiday outings, and frequent office and departmental parties Additionally, the sales department benefited from a flexible schedule, which was a major plus. While we worked through all major holidays, there were additional bonuses for doing so. Management and many colleagues were supportive and helpful during this time and many other times, which made the experience even better.
Cons
Unfortunately, over time, things shifted in a less favorable direction. Expectations for reaching and surpassing sales goals became increasingly unrealistic. Upper management implemented changes without seeking input from middle management or the sales team—those most closely connected to customers. The lack of support for students dealing with issues led to a ripple effect, consuming the sales department's time and bandwidth. Compensation structures were altered, adding to the stress. Frequent and significant organizational changes seemed to be made without proper testing or evaluation, often negatively affecting both the company’s reputation and employee morale.
