Pros

Georgetown has great benefits, people you meet working there, making a difference for men and women in the developing world

Cons

Where to begin? Turnover numbers alone should alert you to the state of this place. When I started there were about 25-28 people and when I left there was about 13 people left. When I left and alerted 'HR' (a generous term) and management they just said that was the transient way of non-profits. In fact, people left because they were unsupported, morale was low, and senior management was practically draconian. I've never worked at a more negative, catty, and unsupportive workplace before. Feedback from former staff was given when left and yet changes were never made. Women of color were regularly confused with other women of color in the office, names mispronounced, and comments about natural hair were made, what a joke. I don't suspect this place will last longer than 2 more years tops.
