Pros
I've been here for almost 3 years, and I have seen that INS has had many, many issues with staffing over the years. The doctors decided to bring on new professional management recently from the very top, and its made a whole world of difference!
1.) pay is good, benefits package is good
2.) management actually asks staff input and suggestions before making big decisions that have an effect on the staff
3.) co-workers are great and all the staff that we have recently got seem to actually want to help each other and enjoy time with each other
4.) from the COO to the department managers, all the managers actually care to ask about how things are going for each person and how they can help, and they will actually step in to help
5.) the company has a way more organized feel to it instead of things just happening randomly
6.) I've recently noticed some neat things are happening: new technology, new ideas, growing company, and also several steps of staff growth possibilities that I've heard of
Overall the management change has made the company in such a way that we give the best care that we can to the patients and are actually having fun doing it here.
Cons
In the past, turnover was a big big issue, but under the new management team no one has chosen to leave and everyone seems actually happy to be here... its weird (in a good way) to see this change in the last few months! Still there are some EMR system glitches with Intergy EMR which are sometimes a pain, and some employees get put with tasks in multiple departments which can get difficult to manage. But I trust that our managers are working on these things as they mentioned.
