Pros

Overall company mission Relaxed environment No real office dress code Some great fellow employees Growing Company An ok place to get your foot in the door as a learning environment

Cons

-Forced to adhere to Scientology business ideas. One of the first requirements is to read Breaking the Code by L Ron Hubbard. Metrics, KPIs, etc are founded on Breaking the Code. -Several employees are in Scientology, and it creates a divide of favorites in the office -Rules are not equitable. Some people get to work from home while others do not without actual reasons other than who is a boss's favorite. -The managers have a very "do as I say not as I do" mentality. They are constantly not in the office, working "remotely" -If you are hourly, they will not let you work overtime because they will not approve the time and a half, but you still have to technically work and count the time towards the following week. -There is no real HR. If you have a complaint or frustration, just keep it to yourself. -No real room for growth -Compensation -Terrible benefits

Thank you for your feedback. There are many factors that contribute to whether an employee can WFH including the job duties they have, the requirements of the supervisor, demonstration of being able to work productively unsupervised, etc. WFH arrangements are agreed to during the hiring process. If you have questions about whether you can WFH or not, please discuss them with your supervisor! As you said, we have a relaxed atmosphere at work, and communication is welcome. Every employee is given a copy of the Breaking the Code book as a reference tool related to business administration. It is a book based on works of an author usually better known for religious works. With that said, the contents of the handbook are entirely secular in nature and are referred to in matters related to organization and improving productivity within the company. It sounds like perhaps you have not reviewed the book as you would see this for yourself. In order to ensure uninterrupted one-on-one time, we ask employees to schedule any meetings with HR to discuss any concerns they have. Our HR has never rejected a meeting request and all complaints will be heard.

Pros

Working remote and with friendly, professional people

Cons

f you’re considering working here as a contractor, I’d recommend proceeding with caution. There were several early warning signs I wish I had recognized sooner, but I kept giving the benefit of the doubt. I was initially hired as an Instructional Designer, but the majority of my work turned into multimedia development due to my background and skills. I contributed to three eLearning projects during my time, and unfortunately, all were poorly organized from the start. Projects were often handed off with little to no direction, unclear expectations, and without any established review or editing process. It felt like you had to rely on your best judgment and intuition to figure everything out. One major red flag was being asked to design an interactive eLearning showpiece in only 60 minutes, which is simply unrealistic given the parameters and quality expectations. In reality, that level of work takes between 8–16 hours to complete properly. While the pay rate was fair, there were issues with delayed payments, requiring escalation to leadership and even the financial department/CEO. Communication about these issues was inconsistent and at times unprofessional—my contract was terminated without warning or proper notice, with notifications sent only via personal email. On the positive side, the people themselves were friendly and professional, but the work environment and project management processes made the experience very challenging. There’s minimal support or guidance for contractors, and expectations are often misaligned with the time, tools, and direction provided. Overall, this company asks a lot from contractors without offering the structure or clarity needed to succeed. If you value clear communication, realistic timelines, and stability, this may not be the right fit.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry this engagement didn’t meet your expectations. The experience you described is not representative of how we typically work with contractors. We value clear communication and strong partnerships and continually refine our processes to support that. We wish you the best going forward!
