Pros

No positive vibes here as any attempt to voice valid criticisms or propose improvements was met with dismissiveness and belittlement.

Cons

The systems and platforms used for trading are outdated and clunky, making it incredibly frustrating and time-consuming to execute even the simplest trades. It's ironic that a company so focused on electronic trading fails to provide a user-friendly and efficient interface for its clients. Moreover, the stunted growth and lack of innovation within the organization are clear indicators of a leadership team that is out of touch with the evolving needs of the market. The icing on the cake is the condescending and mocking attitude displayed by upper management towards employees suggestions and concerns.

Pros

Good benefits (50% up to 5% 401k match, paid lunches, fully paid medical plan). Work-life balance is decent; it's rare to be asked to work more than a 45-hour week. It's a good place to break into fintech, particularly in client services.

Cons

A largely uncollaborative and sometimes toxic corporate culture outside of client services. Unless your name carries weight with management, your colleagues, even at lower levels, can be unresponsive or downright hostile, making it difficult to accomplish anything. Upward mobility and career development opportunities are limited, which reflects the company’s focus on automation and a lean operating model.
