Beware of Tim Hand - Anonymous employee Interim Physicians Employee Review

First let me say I’m sorry for my delayed response in thanking you for sharing your thoughts. I value hearing from current and former employees. Could we have done some things differently? Yes, there’s always room for improvement. We’ve gone through quite a bit of change and growth over the last couple of years, but we’re continually looking forward and I’m sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. However, it greatly concerns me when you say that I “asked for an employee to be fired due to her being pregnant.” Let me clearly and unequivocally say that this statement is false. Terminating an employee due to pregnancy is unethical and illegal and is not, nor would it have ever been, tolerated at this company. Nor is it acceptable to belittle an employee in public. Any discussions related to a person’s professional development are taken seriously and conducted privately in consultation with the employee and his or her supervisor if applicable. While it’s difficult to hear such rhetoric, it reinforces the importance of maintaining professional and open communication among staff and leadership, something we continue to improve upon.
