Pros
Good atmosphere by general employees, most management personnel are competent and wiling to help, salary is slightly above average but on par with industry, benefits are good but nothing to wow. Union-Management relationship is very good, but only because the union reps are understanding.
Cons
one shift, 10-630 pm, 3 of 5 members of management team care only for themselves causing the rest to struggle a bit (safety and some policies are not followed by them). as a supervisor, unless you break into the "fab 3" - and stay there - your views and opinions are not respected by your immediate boss (fab 3). in most situations, unless you're experienced, you will go through "sink or swim" scenarios several times per year.
