Interstate is a great place to work! I have worked at the Springfield, VA location for almost six years. In those six years, I have been afforded opportunities for growth and career development into a leadership role. I was assigned a mentor who helped me professionally and personally. They have a committee that is dedicated to giving back to the employees by expressing appreciation and scheduling fun events, like the yearly holiday breakfast right before Christmas. If you're willing to put in the effort and work hard, you should consider applying here! It can be a rewarding job if you're looking for a team environment and enjoy collaboration. I specifically enjoyed the feeling of stability. The company has been in business for over 75 years and steadily growing.
Cons
During peak season (May 15-Aug 15), one should expect to work additional hours and put in extra work. We are a moving company and naturally people like to move when their kids are not in school.
