      Pros

      4 weeks PTO once you’re an official employee

      Cons

      Unprofessional. Lack of growth. They expect you to overwork yourself for minimal pay. Zero work life balance. If you have kids they try to use that to scare you about job security. They pick and choose what they want to follow in the handbook. Overall toxic environment Health insurance is horrible as well. Minimal coverage at high rates. Spouses aren’t allowed to be on your plan. The 4 weeks of PTO are great because of how much you end up working. You become so burned out that the time off is required for your mental health.

      Good group of people in local office.

      Cons

      Stuck in the past. Unwilling to consider updating methods or procedures. "We've done it this way for 30 years and it has worked." Sales relies upon project engineers to do most of their work for them. When volume of work is slow that becomes the engineers responsibility to go find new clients. Can't reliably pay the most basic of utility bills on time. I've seen the power cut off 2x and the gas this past winter.
