Pros

Was a good career start. Some good people and colleagues around. Got to travel a bit.

Cons

Almost everything. There was on respect at all from management therefore no one respected them. The CEO would visit other offices maybe once every 5 years and never once even said hello to the employees. Management is absolutely atrocious - no care whatsoever for any employees and were extremely secretive about financials, state of the company etc. Socialising was frowned upon which made it difficult to enjoy your working environment. Very high staff turnover, very low pay and disgusting offices. Management were extremely unethical and would keep money wherever they could even if they were meant to be paying it out to an individual. I would see members of the Business Development team playing Chess on their computers all day but still remain a part of the 'boys club' (management). DO NOT WORK HERE.

Pros

Good group of people in local office.

Cons

Stuck in the past. Unwilling to consider updating methods or procedures. "We've done it this way for 30 years and it has worked." Sales relies upon project engineers to do most of their work for them. When volume of work is slow that becomes the engineers responsibility to go find new clients. Can't reliably pay the most basic of utility bills on time. I've seen the power cut off 2x and the gas this past winter.
