Pros
While competitors slashed staff during the pandemic, Intrax was positioned to not only sustain high staffing levels during a crisis, but also acquire a competitor and fight to administer programs where possible. They won court cases, joined Chamber of Commerce suits, and ensured cultural exchange programs could continue safely. Throughout the pandemic, Intrax has prioritized hosts that offered the safest and most supportive environments, and really focused on the big picture. I wouldn’t have wanted to be with any other international ed organization at this time and my loyalty to Intrax is much greater as a result of how their leadership is managing operations throughout the pandemic.
Cons
Divisions function siloed. There are several programs and potential opportunity throughout the organization, but minimal collaboration across divisions. I’d love to engage more with other departments and know more about growth and advancement opportunities throughout the organization.
