Pros
-Work towards fighting climate crisis -Great, kind, motivated coworkers at the staff level -Opportunities to show personal leadership (because it’s not a well organized company)
Cons
-Senior leadership at the VP level and higher (and there’s a lot of them) does not care about employees, and they don’t hide it -Shut up and work mentality from leaders -Top heavy organizational hierarchy -Lack of employees who have been there 3-8 years. Everyone has either been there a year or two or for ten years because of turnover issues -CEO / Founder & other leaders are in it exclusively for profit; profiteering on the clean energy transition. Recent WSJ article on this -Leadership does nothing to create a company culture -Leadership is more interested in scoring points against employees than checking their egos and asking for feedback / checking in -Scattered, incoherent, reactive business strategy frequently creates short timelines pushed down by management -High staff turnover because of poor leadership. You’ll see your friends leave -Little training provided by company
