Pros
Co-workers: you will have the privilege of working with some amazing people. The constant frustration and struggles of working here creates strong bonds.
Cons
Working at Ironpaper taught me one very important lesson in my career...YOU DESERVE BETTER. It is unfortunate that a company that projects such a strong sense of culture, ambition and strength could continue to drive away employees and clients alike. With one of the highest turnover rates I have experienced working at a company don't expect to get too comfortable here. As you read through the numerous negative reviews there is a consistent theme that targets management specifically for: -Under appreciating employees -Poor business practices -Passive aggressive management -Lack of processes -Poor compensation -The list continues on and on... What you will notice is the responses, clearly from the internal management team, to these "revenge" reviews is that the blame is put on past employees. There are a number of excuses used such as, "not the right fit", "not passionate enough" or my personal favorite "someone who hasn't even worked at Ironpaper". The fundamental problem that exists shows itself clearly in these responses from the team. There is a constant absence of acceptance of wrong doing by management and instead of addressing the numerous issues head on they are spun into a web of lies used to ensnare the next bath of hires. There clearly is not a lack of passion from any past employee for we were all passionate enough to take the time to sit down and write these warnings, I mean reviews. Don't get me wrong I learned quite a bit working at Ironpaper, mostly from other employees who were facing similar issues. The battle that was working here made me stronger and from that I was able to move on to a new company and new position. But who am I to judge, I am just another layer of skin shed from the snake.
