Pros

It's a good-looking brand and you can bring pets into the office.

Cons

If you're not in the family, my experience is that you won't be respected. Senior roles seem to be allocated based on surname more than credentials and as a result, management can feel egotistical and authoritarian while lacking professional substance. Benefits package is uninspiring. Despite the great look of the brand itself, the office is tired, dreary and in desperate need of a refurb. There's little professional autonomy and as far as I can see, the only way you'll remain in the business or progress is if you're happy to spend more time working to appease management rather than doing the actual work that needs to be done.

Pros

* We are solving a very real, every day problem for 000s of pet owners * A real sense of ambition - with new senior hires starting, it feels as though the ambition for the business - and reality of achieving this - is much bigger * Constant change! Things are always evolving and new people starting all the time - it's great to have new challenges all the time and to see the team grow * Introducing useful new perks and benefits for the team is really rewarding

Cons

* There's a lot going on (also a big pro)! * Constant change (also a pro)! * No fault of the company (entirely driven by COVID), but working, communicating and collaborating remotely can be quite hard
