Pros

- Great people to work with in the managed services team - Reasonably good bonus scheme - Good office location - They love their Christmas do's - Most of their customers have a lot of respect for staff in Itergy and value their opinions/ideas

Cons

There's too much dependency on too few people where the core of their service resides. I can't say I felt the team leader or department head of the managed services team were invested in my career aspirations while I worked there. I drove training initiatives for myself. There was one company-wide initiative for training while I worked there, but the CEO was honest and told everyone it was mostly just a checkbox so they could receive sales leads from Microsoft - lines up with how I felt of not feeling like anyone cared for my career interests. I didn't feel confident their sales initiative was proactive enough. The management of the managed services team made a controversial change of RMM tool. It received a lot of criticism and warnings that the tool wasn't suitable enough from all staff in the managed services team. While I had (and shared) my concerns for the tool they chose, my largest concern was how ignorant they were to their own team's concerns and opinions, and still went ahead with no compromise or opportunity to review the decision.

Pros

average salary, near metro station.

Cons

The illusion that they treat every employee equally. They really don’t. If you’re white, expect the big bucks, if you’re brown, expect them to take advantage of you and low-balling you. I was fired during my first month there and not given any reason at all, but it happened just after they saw me praying (I am Muslim) during my lunch break (very discreetly I may add, it only took 2-3 minutes and I was in nobody’s way) .. management is Islamophobe.. they even made fun of Muslims during Ramadan for not joining their monthly “team lunches” When you’re first hired, during those monthly team lunches, they ask you as new employees stand up and tell everyone about yourself, specifically what ethnicity you are from, where they were born, etc) … They have no shame calling their own employees from middle-eastern descent as “Arab terrorists”, I have witnessed that in many occasions where some employees who witnessed this laughed nervously because they didn’t want to displease the racist manager (a VP) making the stupid racist joke time after time. They disrespect people from India and look down on them, and often refer to Indian IT managers at clients as “the worst” and very often say “we would be so much better if IT didn’t have so many Indians in it.. it was amazing days when it was just white managers” … just absurd how openly racist they are and think they can get away with it!
