Pros
Generally there is good work-life balance. There are some intense crunch times but it's generally reasonable. The people are great to work with and the management is good too. The engineers are all very capable and there is plenty to learn. The company is very stable with many employees who are lifers or have been there 20+ years. The benefits are decent and the open PTO policy can be a positive thing. The IT team is also AMAZING. They worked very hard to keep us chugging along during the height of the pandemic.
Cons
The pay is on the lower side and the annual adjustment is very low. There is very little room to grow career-wise. It feels like a good place for senior engineers who are ready to ride it out to retirement. I put this on the "con" side... but maybe it's a good thing? If you are later in your career and are just looking for a place with decent pay and good benefits, then this is the place for you. Just realize you aren't going to get rich working here.
