frustrating - Software Engineer ItsOn Employee Review

current svp of engineering not a good fit for a company the size of ItsOn. his large company thinking make me frustrating working under his management. everytime there has an issue coming from customer engineering side he called everyone in for meeting and even doesn’t have a good understanding of the issue and can’t make up his mind on direction. he does not understand our solution so well, so tries to manage based on metrics instead rolling up his sleeves and working with engineers. with the layoff recently he doesn’t add confidence and moral to the team, but hurts it instead. it would be better if he was part of layoff, too.
