Pros
I joined IvyLine Capital, as their Director of Investment Education during the Spring of 2020. Within this role, I was able to leverage my experiences and passions for the financial markets and education.
During this time Covid-19 had put hundreds of students out of internships, and many others were struggling to adapt to the massive lifestyle changes the global pandemic presented.
IvyLine Capital served as a international community for these students. Enabling students to make productive use of their time during the spring and summer.
Students I developed relationships with were thrilled to share how much they learned within IvyLine Capital's Educational Cohort, through a hands-on curriculum, guest speaker events, and investment challenges.
However, the work didn't stop there. We also helped students as they prepared for job opportunities with mock interviews, resume reviews, and revisions of cover letters. Furthermore, for many students within our community, I had the opportunity to relate with on a personal basis. Helping students navigate difficult periods of their lives and ultimately contributing to their success and well-being.
Cons
I currently have no cons.
