Pros
None. Best example of a bad business, bad management and absolute scammers.
Cons
The details of the employment contract were not disclosed during the hiring process. I was verbally offered a higher salary and agreed to a three-month probation period. However, after resigning from my previous position and arriving to sign the employment contract, I was presented with different terms: a five-month probation period and a lower salary, with the originally discussed salary only taking effect after the probation period.
When I requested clarification regarding these changes, I was told that these were the terms and that my only options were to sign the contract or walk away. The welcoming and enthusiastic atmosphere presented during the interview process felt misleading, as the workplace culture I experienced after joining was entirely different.
The management style was often disrespectful, unprofessional, and at times humiliating. Employees' contributions and self-worth appeared to be constantly questioned, creating a negative work environment. In my experience, this was unlike any other Canadian workplace I have encountered.
The situation came as a significant shock from my very first day. Within my first few days of employment, I had already begun searching for other opportunities. The company appeared to operate with a high employee turnover rate, with many staff members being recent hires and a continuous cycle of hiring and departures. From my observations, this seemed to be a fundamental aspect of the organization's culture.
