Horrible place to work and horrible people to work for - Director of Operations J. Ryder Group Employee Review

This summer, I worked as a full-time sales/marketing intern at the J. Ryder Group. As a college student who is relatively new to the workforce, the J. Ryder Group welcomed me with open arms. From day one, their main priority was to help me grow in my field of study (business/marketing) and ensure that not only was I getting job experience, but also learning along the way. Another aspect that I admired about my time at the J. Ryder Group was the real and hands-on work that I was constantly partaking in. As an intern starting her first full-time job, I learned so many business tactics and communication skills that will benefit me for life. My colleagues made me feel like I had been an employee there forever and constantly encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and take on more roles/responsibilities within the company. I can confidently say that my time at the J. Ryder Group has definitely benefited and shaped me into the growing business-woman that I am today. I am so thankful for the experiences and opportunities that they provided for me.

Co-workers make it extra special and fun to come to work Atmosphere is welcoming. Culture is laid back but still get work done. Jeans and hats are acceptable. Ability to work in a productive atmosphere Allowed to bring dogs to work Fun place to work!
