Pros
- Free car wash - Large projects that you can get your teeth stuck into - Some very knowledgeable people - Cheap full English breakfast in the canteen - Opportunity to work abroad - Chance to move around the company - Good salaries (unless you come in as a grad) then it is hard to increase your salaries inline with your peers who came in as a direct entry (not as a grad/student).
Cons
- VERY top heavy management (too many managers on BIG salaries with no real input into daily task's) - Fixed holidays (this company will not give you any freedom with holidays). But often will give you time for doctors/hospital appointments, unless your manager is heartless (most often the case at JCB). - Clock in and clock out (expect to be marched into an office if you clock in 1 minute late! - Car parking is an actual nightmare in pretty much every site (specially WHQ at Rocester). - No real perks/benefits to the job ( they claim there is a healthcare centre, but really it's just somewhere where they give the occasional back rub to compensate for the awful 'ergonomic office chairs' which cripal your back! - Depressing office environment.
