Pros

Right now I have none. with my job, things change daily so that is a good thing. i can pretty much work around my life schedule, however i will probably be called to work on my days off because they are so short handed.at our store associates can tell the supervisors what to do and get away with it because there is a lack of respect. there are a lot of smoke breaks and coffee breaks so that is a bonus. you can also take as long of a lunch as you want to and not get in trouble for it.

Cons

where I work there is a huge lack of communication and lots of incompetance...i end up making managerial decisions because our manager can't decided anything for themself! so many call offs and a huge turnover cause many problems. sometimes they will pretty much hire anyone who is breathing and able to stand on two legs. very rarely is there ever any praise for a job well done unless you actually point it out and say "hey i did this!". a lot of times you end up doing more than is required of you and for some people if they are asked they will say "its not in my job description".

Pros

If you like working early morning hours and getting off early in the afternoon (which I do) this is a great part-time job. I was a college student when I worked here so it worked perfectly with my schedule. The pay is pretty decent and the people you work with are friendly.

Cons

Only real downside is that it's retail. You're going to run into some rude customers from time to time. There's always work to do and not enough time given to do it sometimes. But as long as you work hard and managers see that you're trying your best there isn't too much pressure put on you.
