They offer: Flexibility Work-Life Balance (if you set firm boundaries) Compensation (ask for a pretty big jump and they will go for it because they have no idea how to interview and do not have a pay structure scales)
Cons
Management is a joke. President has no clue how to run a company or how to do his job. Incompetent employees are kept on despite being shown as incompetent numerous times and causing multiple problems across the company. No discipline process for employee misconduct which in turn leads to constant employee misconduct/insubordination. The president encourages unethical and illegal operation. Competent employees are treated flippantly and with a dismissive attitude. The president is condescending and treats everyone like his personal assistant. President's unorganized and chaotic methods highly inhibit productivity. They do not offer industry standard benefits - poor health insurance option, no vision/dental, no retirement plan, no HSA, no tuition reimbursement, no team building exercises. The ONLY benefit is flexibility.
