Pros

The employees are, for the most part, good hard working people who don't deserve the poor treatment they receive from the "management team".

Cons

The so called "management team" is inept and insecure. In order to compensate for their ignorance and incompetence, they belittle and berate the staff - often in front of coworkers. The result is a demoralized staff who fear making even a minor mistake which the "management team" searches out and uses as a tool to try to diminish the staff's abilities and contributions. Don't plan on making a decision on your own while working here. You will be micro-managed by the "management team" to the point that you will need approval for most decisions while the sound decisions that are made by the staff are twisted by management and made to appear to be management's ideas. Described simply - management is greedy, elite, unrealistic, concerned about themselves first and completely out of touch with the staff.

Pros

The management team saw my potential and gave me 2 promotions during my time here. After 3 years of being micromanaged and having a supervisor look over my shoulder at every minute task, I finally got some autonomy which was satisfying. I had great relationships with my coworkers. I appreciated the ability to be flexible with my work hours as long as I put in 40+ hours and got the work done.

Cons

The company has passed the 50 employee mark in my time here and while some good organizational structure changes were made, they were still micromanaging and stretching their budget like a much smaller company. They keep a lot of work in-house done by overwhelmed employees with a strange variety of responsibilities, when it could be argued that many responsibilities could be farmed out for efficiency and quality, leaving employees to do the job they were actually hired for. Hiring outside agencies for has been seen as out-of-the-question so a beleaguered staff tries to not let anything fall through the cracks with constant fear of even a tiny mistake. The most minute infractions are brought up in annual reviews.
