Pros

The location is central to Greenville. The hours are decent, not much overtime required.

Cons

If you work in the accounting dept of JHM Hotels (resource center) you will be bullied by bosses and some co-workers. We lost a great employee this week because she was tired of being bullied and decided to walk away. It is really sad to see this sort of mistreatment of our employees and know that our HR dept is aware of it and chooses to do nothing to correct the situation. This is also a good reminder of why bosses should not be allowed to hire "friends" into subordinate positions, the friends tend to take advantage of the relationship to walk over their co-workers at every opportunity.

Pros

JHM is a really good Management Company to work for. I started with the company 5 1/2 years ago as a reservations specialist, when the call center closed I was able to advance to a JHM property with the help of Human Resource through JHM. Starting with Marriott Greenville was a great opportunity for me, I started off as a front desk agent and with the great training and support from managers and co workers I was able to advance to front office supervisor. With the career advancements I've made with the company it has given me hope that i can hospitality into a career and be able to do something I love to do. Thank you JHM for allowing me to perform and do something I love to do and that's to take care of every guest that came to our property.

Cons

There is not a lot of training between the departments. Benefits are kind of expensive.
